Sweet Summer Wedding in Erie, PA
Cory & Kellsey
Our team captured a sweet summer wedding in Erie, PA this last June. We were initially contacted by the couple only a few short weeks before their wedding date. Their original plans had fallen through. Luckily, our photography team was available to step in and help capture this couples memories.
Cory & Kellsey are one of the sweetest couples we’ve had the pleasure of working alongside. The groom is so polite and the bride is just the sweetest person I’ve ever met. We knew instantly that we were going to enjoy photographing their summer wedding in Erie, Pa. The couple hosted their wedding ceremony at Sparrow Pond in Waterford. Both the newlyweds children & parents were important to the success of the day. This is a very close knit and loving family. The groom’s brother performed the ceremony. The groom walked both his mom and his mother in law down the aisle. The bride was escorted by her father and the groom’s father. It threatened rain throughout the day. Luckily, the rain held off until just after the officiant pronounced the couple. After that moment the skies opened up and poured down like good luck on the newlyweds.
The reception immediately followed at the American Legion Club in Wesleyville, PA. Our photography team followed the couple and joined up with our Disc Jockey & Photo Booth teams to serve the festivities of the reception. There were some amazing and fun moments during the reception. Because the photography team had been cut short for formal photos due to rain they took the first chance they could to get the newlyweds outside to take advantage of the sun shining. As a special surprise to the groom, our graphic design editor created a photo with a T Rex looming in the background. Kellsey revealed to us that Cory is a huge Jurassic Park fan. We were excited to release that photo to the couple.
