Planning an Outdoor Wedding!

This beautiful, rustic outdoor wedding took place on a private farm in Cambridge Springs, PA. After initially meeting with the Frank & Julia to discuss their needs, they decided to hire our Wedding Coordinator for a “Mini” Planning Package. Our Wedding Coordinator sat down with the bride to go over budget planning. After a budget was created our coordinator provided Julia a list of wedding vendors in her price range. It was up to the bride to contact and choose her vendors. She let us know which vendors she had selected and we planned from there. Because the couple leads busy lives, we also used email, texting and our interactive online planning tools to make planning easier on them. Initial planning began 1 year before the wedding. Our day of service was 7 hours long. We also provided 3 hours of service the evening before during rehearsal.

After our initial meeting, we agreed that the best services to make this Erie wedding a success was:

  • Wedding “Mini” Planning Consultation
  • Wedding Ceremony Rehearsal Coordination
  • Ceremony Sound & Coordination
  • Reception Sound & Coordination
  • Wedding Photo Booth
  • Uplighting

A Challenging Wedding Venue

We had numerous hindrances to providing service for this outdoor wedding. First, the venue was hosted on private property both indoors and just outside an old barn. There was no power supply to the barn. We had to do several site visits to create a good plan for proper power. We also had the added worry of a thunderstorm in the forecast that day. Additional tents being set up at the property last minute caused a delay in set-up time for us which was an extra strain. In the end, we were able to begin the day on time and a great time was had by all. Also, it was sunny and 90 degrees all day with not one raindrop.

This Couple had a VERY unique wedding. They blended their Irish ancestry with their love of the American countryside. Also, their shared love of tacos was incorporated to create quite an experience for their guests. The gentlemen wore blue and green plaid kilts. Under the kilts was a surprise with Super Hero Underwear! The bride wore an Irish Lace wedding gown. The tables were decorated with burlap and lace and a taco bar was served for dinner. We added to it by using the plaid design from the wedding party kilts in their costumed designed photo booth print.

Wedding Coordination Sets Us Apart

Our experienced Wedding Planner is something no other local Disc Jockey has. She was able to sit with the couple and discuss what was important to them. Along the way she was very helpful in finding just the right services for the couple to host their dream wedding. We also had Three of our hard working and dedicated Professionals were on spot the day of the wedding to assist with every aspect of the big event.
